{organizing the baby cabinet}

This was my favorite organization task.  My baby girl will be eating baby food soon and I found a great deal on it and bought some. When I returned home, I realized I needed to get her cabinet together in order for everything to fit.  All my supplies were found at Target and the Dollar Tree. The only thing I forget to get pictures of was when I created the labels.  It was pretty simple though, especially being a scrapbooker I had everything I needed to create them.  Enjoy the pictures!

{clutter free fridge}

So I have seen this idea on pinterest and FINALLY found time to get the supplies and give it a try.  My fridge (like many in America) was covered with various magnets, holding flyers and pictures.  I saw this idea of making glass less picture frame magnets that would hold pictures, flyers, schedules, or whatever you wanted.  I actually found all the supplies at the dollar store! Score! Enjoy the transformation!

{under the bathroom sink}

Sorry it has been awhile. I had to return to work for two weeks before summer vacation started, so life was kind of crazy. But I did find time to organize some areas and now I can post, yayy! First up is my cabinet under the bathroom sink. Its pretty small and cramped so I needed to find something that utilized the height I had in there.  I've seen posts on other blogs and pinterest about finding things at the dollar store, and it's so true!!! Green bins were found at the dollar tree, plus they came in other colors. And pink basket I already owned.
 [These bins were a great solution to utilize height.]

{organizing with thirty one}

I recently attended a virtual Thirty-One party (so much fun by the way) and it got me obsessing over how to organize with their products.  I've been searching the Internet (love pinterest) for ideas.  So I plan to feature a lot of cool ways to use those cute bags and totes from them.  My first use is actually one I discovered myself.  I had an extra box from Ikea's SKUBB Box Set that I wasn't using.  I found that it fit perfectly in my all in one organizer from 31.  This helps if you want your tote to stand up better.  I keep it right next to my couch with my breast pumping supplies.  I hope to get their organizing utility tote and see if it fits in there too!

{Rearranging the family room}

With having a new baby, we found that our family room was filling up with a lot of her things.  In our small house, we are definitely limited on space. So finally I had enough of it and needed to rearrange the room. Again, I forgot to take a before picture...sorry! But basically I flipped the chaise on the couch with the side table and moved the swing to the front.  And that chair under the baby gym was moved completely to the other side of the room by our kitchen table. Sorry about the quality of the pics, probably because I turned my camera when I took the pictures.  Oh and since I took apart the couch, I decided to vacuum the entire thing plus the whole floor :) In the end I love it cause it opens the room up so much more!

{organizing the bathroom closet}

I've been on a spring cleaning spree throughout my house. With a new baby, three dogs and the two of us, it's a bit tight in our rented 950 sq. ft.house. I forgot to take before pictures, but I did capture everything that was trashed. I purged all expired medicine, which freed up a lot of space. I sorted things into clear containers I purchased at the dollar store, yayy!! And used my trusty label maker to easily identify contents. Now I don't have things spilling out when I open the closet.
